Hi, I bought a Marshall Valvestate 8100 head off of ebay and it was DOA. The thing won't turn on at all! It keeps blowing fuses. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?

take it to a local tech. they have a tendensy to overheat and blow a cap or something. you can accually have the tech beef up the thing that keeps blowing - don't remember the details were but he had 5 valvestates stacked on top of each other with the same problem. -

If the amp was described in the auction as working, and it is not, I would contact the seller for a return and refund before you take it anywhere.-------------------------

If it was descibed as working, I would "Pop a cap up his ..." and demand my money back. Take it to a tech and you better really, really want this amp. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]I am a true ass set to this board.Comment
