    quick question, what's the best pot to use for the Gibson 500T pup?

    From the title, I thought you wanted to trade!
    I'd say 500K though.

        Thanks a lot...now, because I have active pups in my guitar, do I need a new input jack to go along with the 500K pots?

          No, the stereo jack will work fine. If it's the kind that comes with EMGs, it'll be a Switchcraft one which is quality. You can just clip the 3rd wire that goes to the battery.
