amp advice

[diffrent strings]

I'm looking to buy a new amp and it's between the xxx40 and the peavey xxl 212 combo or xxl head and 212 cab.I play maiden priest style music and it will be a bedroom amp except to go out and jam 2 or 3 times a year.Will the xxx40
be too loud for bedroom practice? Thanx
