That's a lotta moola for a low-powered reissue
amp. I think I'd cheap out and score a Traynor Guitarmate and mod it; probably end up with as good a sound for $500-$600 with mod.
No respect, no resale, but a b!tchin and nearly bulletproof amp. I still miss my YBA-1 head for its bluesy rock sound! As a pedal platform it was great too.
I also miss my '78 JMP 50-watt master volume head. I had it for 10 years and nothing ever went wrong but having to clean the pots once.
I had it with the 1960 Classic straight 412 with Greenback reissues and that was THE classic Marshall tone. I had to sell it to move but I wish I'd kept it.
