I just put one in a strat. I like hot pickups. I usually use X2n's. This pickup is not quite as hot but it is pretty rockin'! Very even - just like it is advertised from Dimarzio. Chunky fat tones. Bright and punchy. It doesn't mud up all that much. Articulate. Crunchy. Cleans up great. Just like a PAF - no surprise there. More output though and the sensitivity is very responsive on all the strings everywhere on the neck. Sweeping runs could be heard with an individual note voicing. It does sound very dimensional as advertised as well. Check one out if you get a chance. I am very impressed with it. Might be getting a few more of these!

I LOVE this thing.
It has this sweet tone that you get out of it.
I have one in my GMW Dinky in the neck position and would love to try it in the bridge position as well.
Lee at GMW even liked it better than Air Norton that he usually recommend people for their neck pickups.
It has slightly less compression than other Dimarzio pickups.
It sounds so alive.
I love it.
