Framus Cobra

For anyone interested in an opinion on the Framus Cobra from an owner - it is a very good amp.
Bought it used for $1100 - suggested MRP is $3K.
The middle channel is magic. Very versitile and you can control presets with a midi pedal.
All the gain you could ever want.
The Cobra is the 3 Channel and the Dragon is a 2 Channel.
There is a switch to cut the mids on each of the channels.
Clean is very good. No reverb. 100 watt stereo.
It is a boutique high gain amp so it will go through some tubes over time. Have Grove Tubes for power and JJ's for pre-amp section.
Brighter than a Bogner. Very articulate. Killer and I mean Killer Fuckin' Crunch!
The only other amp I would get would be a Deisel Herbert but they are $4K.

Just KEEP LOOKING for one of these if you want to find a good deal. I got mine used on harmony-central I recall.
The guy didn't shred or play heavy rock and didn't know what he had.
I have no sound clips of it but they are out there on the net. Problem is that sound clips often do not do justice to the real sound because of technical limitations of the internet.
