I'm considering buying an amp with Shuguang 6L6 tubes in it. I've never heard of them, what can you guys tell me about them?

Good quality Chinese tubes. I think they are the largest tube manufacturer in China. -

I have a set of GT Kt 66's that are relabeled Shuguang and they sound great. I am using the 12ax7a preamp tubes made by them as well and I have found that I get a pinch more gain out of them too. Not too microphonic either.Comment

I know it don't mean **** but I'm really digging chinese preamp tubes lately....do all the ,"chinese", tubes come from the same place and sound pretty good across the board? I only ask that because for example.....I haven't heard/had a Svetlana I didn't like...no matter what type of tube (6L6, EL34, etc..)Comment
