I have a Tech 21 Trademark 10 amp and I want to start experimenting with different sounds. Does anybody see any foreseeable problem with running a voodoo valve or t.c. electronics g-major through the effect loop of this amp. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. I only play/practice at home so no need for a bigger amp.

No problem as long as you are not using any preamps or distortion settings in the loop. -

Are you saying not to have the distortion turned on the Tech 21 amp. Run the amp in the clean channel and set the distortion on the voodoo valve or the g-major?Comment

If you are in the loop you should use effects only. If you want to use distortion and effects or just distortion you will probably get the best results setting the Tech 21 to clean and going straight into the input jack.Comment
