John! I have a DC-2. Almost sold it last a few weeks ago. glad I didn't. it's a great amp. Very versatile. You should come by and try it out. It's definitly not a recto, but the contour section smokes for a 25 watt amp. I'd like to start experimenting with tubes.

I never played a Dual Caliber series. I has several Studio 22's and loved every version of them. My Nomad KILLS providing you are using a guitar with humbuckers. It sounds like total ass with the same settings with single coils and has to be set up totally different. It is a touchy amp but very very nice.
