As for the 5150 cabs, yes, they probably sound dark with a different head, because they are specifically designed for the 5150 heads. That is the whole point behind the idea of getting the matching cab for the head. They are voiced for each other.

Your pic didn't come up at first, but don't see an Avatar, unless it's the cab under the rack. The pics I've seen don't look like that
but... Also, I see a Carvin vertical 212, but again, no Avatar.

I also like Avatars...I have an older 1X12 with a V30. The Avatars sound great with many different amps. The 5150 sounds great with the 5150.

lerxstcat: The cab with the wheat grill under my rack is the Avatar 2X12. He's got a new logo it seems. Mine is one of the first to ship with it.

Okay, the ones I've seen are carpet-covered with metal grill, so that threw me. It looks
cool, vintage-style.
