So what's the deal with these? I tried one of these out on Saturday and it sounded like a loose turd - either that or the thing was defective. It worked more like an on/off switch from unbearably shrill to retardedly toneless. I played with the all the switches and knobs and they were just variations on the same theme. Maybe you have to be Jeff Beck for these to not suck.
