    Anyone ever play one of these? I was curious how they sound, Musicians Friend and Music123 are selling these for $299

      i never played the warp 7 but i'm a big fan of the warp factor distortion pedal which supposedly is the same circuit as the warp amps.

        uuuh.......stay away!! if you wanna go solid state, go for the peavey stuff. MUCH better. hell, even a marshall avt sounds better.
        at low volumes, the warp is halfway decent.....still muddy as hell with way too much gain and bass. but once you turn it up to band volume, it becomes really harsh in the highs, and at the same time muddy and bass heavy (thats something you cant quite dial out).......i hate them.
        the warp T is way better......120w all tube...no, i'm not really a tube purist, but in this case the tube amp is WAAAAAY superior.

        299......hell, i think you'd be better off with a marshall valvestate 8100.
