I think it was G# or A, been too long to remember that!

I don't believe the 5150 II was around back then. I think I bought my 5150 in '93.

Thats the lead channel with the pregain set to about 3. I'm on the right side of the mix another guitarist playing a Mesa Triple Rectifier is on the left. I Don't live in Dallas, I live in El Paso, TX.

Ok, I was just wondering, I know a Keith Gutierrez in Dallas Tx. ( I think his name is Keith)

Thanks, I really like that song. Anybody else have any recordings? This is fun!

Question: Can you get a smooth lead tone out of it? you know, something really Joe Satriani like?

Listen to Arch Enemy, that is basically 5150 territory. They used them for the most part and later on they used the XXXs a bit.

I like 5150.It was one of my main amps for many years until couple of years ago.
I probably owned 5 or 6 in the past.

EXCELLENT! I was wondering what these "bias" mods sound like, I have seen some amps on ebay that have the bias mod. Thanks!

Do you do these mods yourself!? Im VERY intrested

Especially the 3 channel mod. How exactly do the 3 different types differ? Is the 3rd channel footswitchable?

and with the bias/gain mod, how much gain do you take away?
Whats the benefit of having a bias knob?

Ah, jeez, I have a lot of questions, email - [email protected] if we need to take this talk off of the board. . . Thanks!
