Wow, am I glad this didn't sell! After several days of tweaking, I've found a few sweet spots and it's just rippen now! With an amp as complex as this is, it's easy to get lost. It was worth the time and effort.
Tubes made the biggest difference. I'm using a balanced triode EH in the PI slot, and found JJ's to work best in V1 and V2.
Hated the JJ EL34, so used the only other tube I have, one of a quartet of Groove Tube KT66's I have laying around. That was a big difference.
You know you're there when you can't stop playing and you haven't touched the settings for two days now...
