My wife got a new digital camera a while ago and I'm tried it out for some pics of my stuff. Here's my current setup...

JCM 800 2203 with a 1960A (G12T-75) cab. Mesa/Boogie DC-5 with a 3/4 back 1x12 ext cab. VHT Pittbull Fifty/CL with a Bogner slant cab (Vintage 30's)

Shawn, "Amp Porn" usually means inside chassis shots...so open that VHT up and show us the innards!

it is built really well, I took it out of the case when I first got it as the reverb tank was fopping around inside, I didn't think to take pictures of the chassis at the time. Maybe next time. Its a great sounding amp that has a cool distinctive tone to it that is really warm, really cool.

Rodrigo, the pedals don't get any use anymore. I primarily used te SD-1 and GE-7 with he JCM 800 but I have a Hot Mod in it so I have enough gain now that I don't need it. The Mesa and VHT have more than enough gain for what I do. I usually go guitar--->amp or guitar--->whirlwind switcher--->amp(s)

Wow. I'll bet your neighbors get pissy.

Most people only show off how many guitars they have. I've always wondered about amps, being as they are equally as important on what guitars you use. In the studio, I'd want a whole lineup of amps to mix sounds. Even, (gasp) a few fenders.

Is the Hotmod you're refering to that Soldano tube replacement deal? I'm curious to how that sounds and works, but since I have a JCM900 (Dual Reverb with 2 channels) it probably wouldn't work would it? Or maybe since I only use it with distortion it would be O.K.?

Yeah, that is what Im referring to. My understanding is that it only works in single channel amps. I like it so far, I put it in the JCM 800 and thats where it stayed [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Has a ton more gain now.

That track was recorded with the 2203 (with THD YJ's and EL-84's) and the hot mod. Stratight gutar to amp. I just rolled back the volume on the guitar for clean, full on for the solo.
