The Quadraverb is much more flexable in terms of programming than the Midiverb. The quad has 4 effect - not sure what the midiverb is. You can still buy the midiverb new, I don't think any quadraverbs are still made, so they have to be purchased used. I've used both and I prefer the Quadraverb series over the midiverb series.
