Marshall 1959 SLP reissue?

I really enjoy reading people reviews here as they seem to be the wisest on the internet so without wasting anymore time...

What's your opinion on the Marshall 1959 SLP reissue? I like it's tone personally (the one I tried at least) but I want to do testing with my own equipment(RR1 with EMG81/85 with MXR double Distortion and 10 band EQ) before I jump in and buy it. I think this is going to be my first big amp that I'll purchase so that I could play small to medium sized venues.

So what are some of your experiences with this amp that might aide in my desiscion?

if they are anything like the jcm 800 reissues they are horrible ^^ i have not played one (or the original series [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] ) yet, but the jcm 800 reissues are nothing like the original ones. the early-80's jcm800s are well known for their warm and tubey crunch, whereas the reissues are more like solid state amps ^^ waaay harsher, and not exactly built to survive....
