That's impossible. Every guitarist has a use for an MTS.
Its almost like buying a 5150 and getting a Super Reverb thrown in for free.

Because you always have to be ready for that unexpected gig. I found a great way to insure that a good gig was coming my way. All I had to do was sell my live rig and POOF, I would instantly get an offer to do a gig as a hired shredder. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I have a buddy who passed on a Mesa Dual Recto and ordered the MTS head already retubed by Carvin. He spoke to a tech guy and told him what kind of tone he was looking for. He's a GIT grad and serious shredder. He loves the amp. He brought it to a couple jams and it was amazing. His modded 5150 sits and collects dust now. You chose well.

Sounds impressive. I played through a carvin X or XB what ever it was called back around '90. I wasn't really that impressed with it. I think it was the fore-runner of the MTS amps.

The X100B is more like an early version of the Legacy. It sounds like a Mesa Mark III to me. The MTS sounds like a cross between a Soldano, a Rectifier and a JCM800.
