Hello everyone. I should have posted this earlier, but I am just now finding time to catch up on things. I was out shopping before Christmas and stopped in a few pawn shops that were in the area. I found a Peavey Bravo 112 (2 Channels, All tube, 25 Watts, Effects Loop, Speaker Outs) marked for $119.99. After trying it out and discussing how dusty it was, I got it for $86.00 out the door. It is in good condition with only some minor scuffing on the tolex and some wear on the black corner caps.
I cleaned it up and replaced the stock tubes with some EH12AX7's and some JJ/Tesla EL84's. It sounds good and I might replace the stock speaker with a Celestion soon. I don't think the pawn shop knew what amp they had. The tubes are mounted horizontally and covered with a plate in the rear. I can't wait to turn it up when everyone is out of the house.
I have been looking for a small tube amp for practice and really lucked out in finding this one. I also scored a Charvel Model 4 for a pretty decent price and will try to post some pictures of it later in the appropriate section. Here are a couple of pictures. If the pictures are too large Admins, I apologize in advance.
Thanks,
Ben
