I've got a Peavey classic 50 watt tube combo, and I was wondering if it would be better to 1. replace the tubes and speakers because they need it..... or 2. look for a decent half stack? I'm a little low on coin these days, but I still will throw out for new gear if I can...LOL [img]/images/graemlins/band.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

Are you a gigging musician? If not, get tubes for the Peavey first. Then see.

Is it the all-tube Classic, or one of the 70s ones with solid state pre and power tubes? If it's the all-tube model I'd replace the tubes
and buy a decent used 412 cab. If it's the old one with solid state preamp, I'd sell it and look for a half-stack.
