Phase 90 Mod question

I was thinking about doing the R28 mod to my phase 90 pedal, but I wanted to put a switch in so I can do and undo the mod. Basically I want to make a homemade version of the new dunlop EVH phase. My question is whether or not it matters what side of the resister I put the switch in. Anybody have any suggestions?

It doesn't matter which side of the resistor you put the switch on. Use a SPST switch.
