This is the Valvulator:



It makes your guitar signal less vulnerable to interference and degredation. It also powers your pedals. It doesn't really color your sound, just sort of make it truer. It's an awesome unit, but it doesn't really make me sound much different, so it's cool you left it out.

Ace I dig those Faded SG Specials, in fact, I'd like to own one someday. We've gotten a couple of them over the months and I have always been impressed-I love the necks and I think they're a great value. I'm playing a faded series Gibson (Melody Maker) as my main guitar now too and I really think the series is the best thing that Gibson has done in years.

I was looking at Epiphone SG's just for the hell of it, then I saw the Faded SG on the wall. I figured I might as well A/B the Epiphones with the Gibsons, and the moment I played that guitar I knew I had to have it. I love the way Gibsons sound and look, but the necks have always felt gummy to me. When I played the Faded SG I liked the feel of the neck better than the RR1's that they had there. I actually like my SG better than the other SG's in the line because of both the way the neck feels and the stripped down earthy look of it. It's a great guitar, and it's my no. 1 player now. And I play upwards of 30 guitars a week, so I have a lot to compare it to!!

Wow, where do you guys get all the little components to make those pictures with? I've seen them around for a while... the ones with graceful cable lines are really cool. Not mine but an example:



I've also seen them inside the back cover of a guitar magazine... Guitar One? Guitarist? Guitar Player? I can't remember.

Dunlop Dime Wah-Fulltone Full drive 2-Line 6 MM4.
And in 4space rack, I will have ADA Digitizer,Furman PQ3, and Korg rackmount tuner.

Where'd ya get that pic? I saw a band in Toronto named Travis, I wonder if that is anything to do with them. They sucked.
