Multi-purpose Speakers

Hey guys. I have decided that I will import to Colombia just a couple of good 12" speakers and then build my own cabinet.

What would be a good all-purpose speaker?...

I need them to be 8 ohm to be able to plug one of them to each output of a mesa 20/20. As you can imagine soud quality is more important than power rating for me.

(I was looking for a couple of 8 ohm vintage 30s and couldn't find them)

Avatar speakers website has a good run-down of speakers. You might want to take a look there. He also sells about everything, and is a great guy to deal with/talk to.

Chris, yes. I actually requested a quote for a couple of Vintage 30s 8 ohm and he came back to me pretty quick. Tha price was good too... I may buy from him.

The problem I have is that these things are heavy and I have to pay $3.5 per pund I ship to Colombia. There is a guy here that has a couple of Eminence speakers that seem really nice...
