Nope - they did have a small-box head. There was one at GC in the Twin Cities for quite awhile - overpriced as usual. I also have an acquaintance who had the small head as well. They're like 2/3 the size of a full-size head.

I have a #2210 and I have a buddy who has a road case for a 2203 that he doesn't use. That is why I am asking.

The Marshall you got isn't a small head or anything, when I placed it on my Marshall cabs, it went end to end like they did, and it's just as high as a normal one. If his road case fits an amp that's a full size Marshall head, it should fit your amp.

I got a recto case from someone on the boards, and it don't fit my Mesa 100% so maybe I got the midgit Mesa

Seriously though you just have to keep showing off that 2210

Yeah, have you seen the Strat since I've done some upgrades? I replaced the nut (it cracked ) with a tusq nut (was going to use a graph tech style (yes I know graph tech makes the tusq also but the one I'm refering to is their black one that is super slick and I can't remember the name of it off hand) the bridge pickup, the pickguard, and soon the neck pickup, then I'll take the mid pickup out, put one of my other strat pickups in, not even wire it, and just lower it to the pickguard like my black strat then sell the vintage noiseless and buy porn er I mean more guitar stuff :P

Why not just have your bud measure the inside of the case? That way you're sure.

JC if you want I'll give you the measurements of my 2203 so you can compare. Would have to be later tonight when I get home from the office.

2210 and 2203 (and 2205 and 2204) amps have the same shells. All same size and dimemsions and retrofittable with each other, even!

I've been looking, I used to have a picture of a 2205 sitting on top of a 2204, but it must have been on my old computer that blew up, because I can't find it. I don't think Marshall has changed the size of their large box head since 1967, I've got a 69 Super lead sitting in a case that a TSL 100 I bought came in.
