Also with a 2203 or 2204 you can get a Soldano Hot Mod which will double the amount of gain, you won't need an SD-1 in front. They only work in single channel amps though. I never played the 2210 so I can't comment on that. I'm partial to my 2203 because I had it since 84. Also I always suggest folks to use their own ears try out whatever they can get their hands on as John states. I can tell people what things sound like to my ears but amps tone is pretty personal and subjective, ultimately the guy buying the amp needs to make up his own mind based on what their ears hear [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
