MIDI to USB

Anybody try one of these little units from MF? I just want to go from the MIDI in/out of a BOSS DR770 to the USB on my computer and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these. The reviews have some good but some very bad also.

I've got that exact unit. Either I did something wrong or it's just a POS that is only good for tethering your Laptop to your drum machine.

I keep meaning to install it on my PC and see if it works, but I'm lazy and still pissed about it not working with my laptop [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I use one for going to my Dr-5 and have no problems with it.

I used one to program my Rocktron Voodu and it worked flawlessly.

I have the yamaha ux16 .. sitting in a box. I bought it and never used it ...LOL
