I know we scantly covered the combo vs. head differences in a recent posting , but I am curious about the difference between the transformer used on the 2x12 marshall silver jub 2558 combo and the jub 2550 head ??..
I am really looking for a jub, and found a jub combo for a very fair price...
in a recent post mentioned that I had a jub combo new in '87 but returned it cause it plain and simple sounded nothing like the heads.
So I am wondering if I can mod/upgrade to the same transformer used in the jub heads. ?
AND what did the canadian jubs use that U.S. models didnt get ?
theres an ebay auction running where someone is making a bit of hoo-haa about his canadian model jub combos tranformer and on/off switches...
