Need your help to choose the new amp......

I'm about to buy a new amp around 600$. what would be the best for Metal? my gear is SL2H and I was looking for Marshall AVT50 but need to know your comments [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Try a Mesa/Boogie DC-5. It is a 50watt, 2 channel all tube amp. Very versatile. Or a .50 caliber Boogie. I like the DC-5 better because each channel has its own set of controls, both great amps and can be had on eBay for 500-600.

I would try to get a used 5150 off of ebay if you are playing metal with a small budget, unless you want a good clean tone. Because the 5150 really doesn't even have a clean channel. You could get a clean tone out of it, but EVH never used clean, so his signature amp doesn't have clean.
