Silvertone Tube Amp-In-Case Mod

I have a Silvertone 1448 amp-in-case model with guitar. It was actually made by Danelectro. It has 3 tubes in it, 12AU6, 50C5 and 35W4. Anyway, I had loaned it to a friend and it came back trashed. The speaker was ruined, and some other stuff.

Anyway, I had it fixed this week and the guy modded it to have a speaker jack. I hooked it up to my Carvin 2x12's and it rocked! All this from a tiny 3-7W amp! Tubes rule.

my friend scored one of those silvertone amps thats like a combo than the chassis comes out to where its like a head/2X12 ugly as hell, but i guess it was free.
