I can't agree more! John and I had the mid pegged.

In short, I think Marshall guys will always go Marshall, Mesa guys will always go Mesa and rightfully so. If you were inbetween the two, I'd have to say that the Retifier's are the way to go hands down. Being amazed at how versatile the single is, I can't imagine what you can do with a dual, triple or Roadking. I'm happy with my single though.

I have had the Double and the Triple and I would choose the Single over them. The Dual Recto Tremoverb is nice too though. I can take a guess and say that the Road King is just sick.

However, I'd of course hope that an amp made of better materials, made with better construction quality, and made with many years of experience after the introduction of the other, would sound, well, somewhat better than the Marshall. John did all the grunt work! I just supplied the Single Rectifier and my opinion. John knows his shit about Dialing in a good tone. It wouldn't have happened if not for him. In the end, I think we proved that each amp is great at what the respectively do. I'd love one of each, but I'll with my rectifier.

I just picked up a Mesa 4x12 halfback and it compliments the Rectifier great especially on the vintage setting. I'd love to compare it to a Rectifier 4x12.

I just scored a Mesa Rect 4x12(Slant,Closed back).
I was stupid to sell all my Rect cabs(4x12 Straight and 2 2x12s)last year and finally I am getting one back.

After saving more money, I will buy a Rect head.
Not sure if I want Single or Dual... or Road King?

Cool deal Toru! I heard that the Recto cabs are awesome with the Rectifiers. A Dual Rect just went for 990 BIN on eBay. I was going to post it here, but it didn't last that long.

DAMN! I really liked the JMP1/Mesa Strategy set up. I've always wanted JMP1. He nailed JC's sound on Them Bones.
