Crate Vintage 50 Head how do these sound?

I realize it's a Crate but I have a chance to pick one up cheap along with 2 1x12 cabinets loaded with 35 watt celestions. Anybody played one of these?

I just had a Crate Vintage 50 combo in my shop last month. Its an EL84 amp with tone and characteristics of a VOX AC30 (or any of the other AC30 amps such as the Laney VC-30).

I dont care for the AC30 sound (or the Fender blues JR sound), but if you want to sound like Blackmore on the Perfect Strangers album, this is your amp. They are cheaply made, but suprisingly toney! I would not call it a shredder amp, but a nice little GP gigging amp not really geared toward a heavy sound.
