Its NOT spring loaded, its the same exact size as my Bad Horsie, but has white lettering, a "Level" knob and a footswitch to activate it.

It sounds GREAT, has a much wider range than the Bad Horsie, but its not as smooth as the BH. Its great, I bought it thinking it was one of the Volume/Wah pedals, and for $30 who could pass it up. Turns out its just a wah, but im thrilled with it, so I dont mind at all!

The "Level" knob adjusts the output of the wah when the wah is running (doesnt do anything in bypass) Its interesting, to say the least. It works as kind of a boost.

The pedal itself was loose, it flopped to the down position no matter what, so the guy let me go use the tools in the store to tighten the pedal right there in the store. I tightened the screws, and now it works perfect.

I used to use a Pro Series Wah/Volume the range and treadle action are pretty damn cool, but it added too much noise to my signal when I was using it.

The best Wah: the VOX Clyde McCoy. Its supposed to be the 'original' one Hendrix used (contrary to the Dunlop), and is so called to imitate the tone of Clyde McCoy (horn player years ago). These pedals are tru bypass, have good working range, sound great, dont poop your tone while using it.

I have one of these, and considered the Bad Horsie, but the guy at Sam Ash daid they get a lot of them back because people dont like them. The Clyde was more, and I got it and never looked back. I cant use a standard crybaby because of the 2mm working range and the tone issues.

Of course, Im no pro, and I went with what I thought was the best for any amount of money that I could use and like... (my $0.02)

I have a Bad Horsie 2, and I absolutely love it. The only thing is it is REALLY noisy when you plug it into an AC adapter. So, I have to keep around batteries and check them before every show, but at least your signal still gets through if the battery dies.
