Mesa Boogie Stereo Simul 295

So I went to a guitar store today and saw a used Mesa Stereo Simul 295. I didn't get to try it (they told me to turn down the volume on a Fender amp before it reached 2...) and I was wondering if I could get anyones opinion on it.

It's for sale for 995 Canadian, but I'm sure I can get it down. I'm searching towards getting an amp soon so I think this could be an option. Now I was intending to buy a used Marshall 59 SLP, 1987X or JCM 800 but I wouldn't mind trying a rack system.

I've owned 2 of them and they are great amps! The newer versions with the knobs on the front are obviously more desireable...I sold both for around $550 or so...
