Calling all Fostex MR-8 owners

Hey guys,
I just got a Fostex MR-8 digital recorder a couple months ago and now that I've kinda learned my way around it I'm ready to upgrade the memory card. I was just wondering how big and what brands everyone else recommends that has one. I found a 1G flashcard but I really don't think that it'll fit in the slot. I need some knowledgable wisdom! i got a friend withg one and i dont like its sound really.

they sound great actually, maybe your friend just did his tone wrong. Great little recording device for on the go.

he never really did spend a whole lot of time with it, actually. after a month of so or fiddling he got tired of it and hasnt used it since
