3preamps but no power amp?
Man! I still need to spend more money to make it right.
Plus Amp switcher to control all these 3 preamps...

That's priced outrageaously IMO. I sold my CAE for $1300...the Fish I've seen from between $1800-$2500....and the X99 is what about $1500 maybe. They're definitely not all worth $7500....plus they've got a chromed face VHT Classic for $2500...insane. I believe they had a mega rack a couple years ago on Ebay with some of these preamps in there that was like $10000 or so....

VHT classics are a hard find. But that is way over priced. Same with the preamps deal. I just scored an SLO. So I'm happy. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I agree with Joel over priced but I would be damn happy with those three I wish I could jsut rent those for a month and decide what I would wnat to buy from them...

Wow!!!! They dropped the reserve to 4950. Now that is a pretty good deal for all 3 of those. Now they just need to drop the VHT a good 1500 before it will spark someones interest.

Nevermind. Looks like they sold the Bogner separate. Still way to high for those two.

I like the 3+ better than the 3+SE. It's definitely the best preamp I have ever played. And it's missed. Wish I had the cash to have one of all of them.

I'm "pretty" happy with my CAE3+se... I'd sure like to check out an ENGL 570 though... I have the feeling I'll miss a lot of whatthe CAE is though...
