Anyone running a XXX with pedals/effects?

As the title implies, if so, what kinds of pedals or effects? Do you use the effects loop?

I run my Behringer V-Amp2 through the loop for reverb and chorus/phaser when I want to have a bit of Death/VH fun, respectively. It sounds pretty good, but it does give me some tone loss. I'll blame that on the Behringer, though.

When I pay off my incoming RR1, I have to get a reverb pedal, and then I'll be set.

Yep.... I run my XXX with a NS-2 and Dimebag Wah in front. In the loop of the NS-2 I run either my modded SD-1 or my modded TS-9 (Thanks Chuckracer). In the effects loop of the XXX I have my Digital Delay and 7-band EQ. The EQ really opens the XXX up Bigtime. Makes it sound fuggin huge.

I mainly use the delay pedal for slight reverb and will probably end up getting some sort of reverb pedal in the future but right now I'm happy. Hope this helps.

Ah forgot to mention the NS-2. I set this up in a strange way, but it works flawlessly.

I always had a problem cutting down noise on the dirt channel while keeping my clean channel's notes from being cut short. Solution:

Guitar into NS-2 input
NS-2 'send' to XXX input
XXX FX Loop 'send' to NS-2 'return'
NS-2 output to XXX FX loop 'return'

This essentially isolates the whole preamp in the NS-2's loop. Works amazingly well, it's most definately my secret weapon. I can mute the strings with one hand and get NO feedback or hiss at all, even under the highest of gain settings. And even with such great noise reduction, the threshold is barely set to the halfway marker. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I have a modded crybaby in front, and a J-station in the loop for effects (controlled by FCB1010) only - with amp and cab modeling turned off.
