Dialing in good clean sound ?

I'm a total noob at clean I'm using a HD147 and I'm trying to set it right, looking mostly for Ride the lightning kinda clean, The world needs a hero has good clean too

I like Marshall models when set to clean but the volume gets too low when you lower the drive and when you switch channels to Rhythm it gets loud

Right now the best i got is the Line6 clean + the marshall GT75 cab, it's not quite where i like it, i prefer old Marshall cleans

Any tips for setting HD/Vetta/POD cleans ?

you could try using a slightly higher gain setting, and backing off the volume pot, but otherwise im not sure dude, i got the same problem with my preamp........lemme know if you find some sort of compromise

I ended up using another model for the clean
