Re: Top 5 SS heads,Tube heads,Modeling heads
for me right now its a toss up between a VHT Pittbull 50 CL w/EQ+REV and a Bogner Ecstasy 101B.
I guess to do the top five thing it would be like this, in no order
Bogner XTC
VHT 50 CL
Marshall JCM800 2203
Soldano SLO100
Mesa Mark IV
I think my next amp purchase will be the SLO..shawnlutz.com

Re: Top 5 SS heads,Tube heads,Modeling heads
Wow, I don't think I've gotten to play with as many cool toys as the rest of you. But out of what I've played, here are my favorites:
-Marshall Jubilee
-Soldano SLO
-Laney AOR
-Randall RG-100 HT
-Tube Works RT2100
I know, I know...I need to get out more often. I haven't played a great number of tube heads that I liked (though some might've included a Twin on their list, it didn't do much for me), I have only played one really good SS head, and I haven't tried many modeling heads so I though in a hybrid instead.
