Scored a Dual Rec Tremoverb for $500

I love dumb pawn shop owners! I found one with a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Tremoverb head, with hardly a scratch on it, in a ATA road case than weighs half as much as the head, for $500!

He told the lady to "shop him that thing in the blue case," she opened it up, and there it was. I asked him what he wanted, and he said, "That is pretty pricey, I'm gonna need $550."

Some little pawn shop next to Classic Axe in Manassas had it. I couldn't believe my luck. I've never really been a Mesa guy, but for the price, I just couldn't walk away. I can keep it as a backup, or use it and the Peavey XXX together (evil grin), or sell it and make twice my money back.

Seriously, I've got a triple recto, you'll love the amp.

...by chance, you're flight case wouldn't be the one that the front comes off, and the back comes off, and the amp stays in it? If it is, would you be interested in a trade + some cash on my part for the Mesa case I bought from the JCF here? it's the one that the top comes off of, and the bottom is where the amp sits.
