Don't get that Rolls one either. Get a Whirlwind, Voodoo Labs, or if you wanna spend the bucks, something like a Leihle.

If you are running 2 at the same time you will want to drop the ground on one of them. If you want to use an A/B/Y box, Loooper makes a great product at a very reasonable price. A 2-amp setup can really fatten things up. You can run the second amp at much cleaner setup that would sound terrible on its own and it sounds huge with a distorted amp.

HAH classic Michael Batio. I wanted that Dean too .
From my experiances and complaints from customers and the guys i work with. A typical AB ABY box will half yor signal to each amp. so giving you a thinner sound. Get an active ABY and you wont have a problem it keeps the signal level where it is when it leaves the guitar instead of splitting it in half. Or just go out of each output on the GT6. thats probably your best option as the signal is boosted when it comes out of the unit and is in true stereo output.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks. When the amp comes, I'll try my GT-6 first since it's readily available to me. If I can't figure out how to use it as a bypassing rich man's ABY box, then I'll get a proper ABY. Active, I guess. Yeah, just hit the bypass on the GT6 and you'll get the natural sound of both amps. If not using the GT6 at all, then the easiest way, IMO, is to go from the effects loop send of one amp into the input of the other amp.
