thought on marshall 9005 poweramp

anyone have any experience with em'? some guy heard my practice rig the other nite(pod pro-marshall 9200)and this is the sound he is after.He is looking for an all tube poweramp 50-100 watts for way under $500

That is my exact rig, also. He could probably find one of the 9005s for 3-400 depending on condition. Also check for a peavey 50/50 all tube power amp.

I have experience with the peavey classic 120/120 nice amp sounds good.I suggested it to him but the availabilty is an issue

i have a 120/120, and it is seriously loud. i think mine needs to be retubed(just bought it second hand) but man, these things kick! you need about 4 cabs and some earplugs to handle them!
