Powerball is much more versatile than Fireball, the forth channel is more smooth and bassy. But fireball has a great Marshall on steroids (lots of steroids!) kind of sound.I would never need a Powerball,so I'm really happy with my Fireball. You'll hear it when I'll finish recordings,I miced it with a sm57 and pushed it with a bad monkey overdrive at full level and gain dimed, using the Fireball gain at 1 (not o'clock!!) cos it has really too much gain! Only 60 watts though... Hmm.... Nice price on it though...
Is it loud enough?

by the way, most people can't make the difference between 60 and 100 watt amps ... the number of watt is not directly linked to the loudness of the sound. Decibels are what you hear. It's an infinite log with base 10. So basically, in order to have an amp that twice as lound as another you have to multiply by 10 ... i.e. a 60 watt amp is twice as loud as a 6 watt amp and a 100 watt amp is twice as lound as a 10 watt amp.
The cab also plays a big role on how loud your sound will be

Yeah,it works fine for my band practice, too loud for club gigs.I used it also in a bigger stage when my band opened for Impaled Nazarene,it was miced so everything was fine.So I believe its wattage is perfect.
