Running heads in series?

Hel folks,
I have 2 solid state amp heads that are identical, but I can't get enough volume live from either one. What's the proper way to hook them up in series so I can get more juice out of them?(I.E., low level out into effects loop on the other, etc)I don't need to get more gain, so I'm thinking I just need to run into the power section of the second amp. Any ideas?

You don't hook them up in series. You split your signal and go into the input of BOTH amps. You can use any number of pedals, including a stereo delay if you want some slapback to thicken your sound.
