Great amps. Real nice clean, reverb, half power switching, great crunch channel and great ultra channel.

Peavey seems to have this same style amp circuit going on for some time. It looks like it started around the mid 80's with the Triumph series and it has taken a few metamorphosis to the Ultras, the XXX's etc.

I love that amp. Very crunchy. Lotta amps these days have gain out the wazoo, but it's smooth and nice or harsh (depends on tubes, cabs and all of course). This one just crunches like crazy and keeps tight.

I have the 60 watt 1x12 combo and it sounds great, especially pushed my a Boss MT-2 pedal. It pushes my 4x12 cabinet nicely. I would love to have the head version though. Jack.
