  • Rockman and Soloist: Any difference?

Is there any difference between the old Scholz Rockman and the Soloist? I wanted to pick one up just for a little headphone amp, but I wasn't sure what the difference was between them. Anyone know?

The original Rockman had chorus and echo while the new Soloist is a bare bones dry distortion headphone amp. Grab a Zoom 9000 as they are even cheaper and way more programable as well as much better sounding.

Ah...the Rockman...great if you wanna sound like Boston and crap for just about anything else!

Rockman is a great practicing tool. I use mine all the time.
