what are your feedback for the MRX+ Distortion? whats the tone, ups, downs... how do you comared DS1 vs MXR+?

Midrangy, growly. Just listen to some Randy Rhoads and it should paint a clear picture of what it sounds like [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
Only 2 knobs though, so its not incredibly versitle. You gotta like the tone, because there isnt much room for tweaking.
Ive thought about getting one for a while, to satisfy my urges during intense Rhoads worship sessions. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] -

Take a Marshall JCM800 and throw a Distortion + in front of it and you pretty much have Randy Rhoads tone.Comment

If you like the Distortion + you will also like the Marshal Guv-nor and the DS-1.
Personally, the best MXR Distortion + tone I have ever heard was in the form of an Ibanez SM-7.Comment
