Re: WHO MAKES THE BEST WAH PEDAL
The word I hear is the Ibanez demon has gotten alot of really good hype about it. I've almost picked one up to check it out..again, such a thing as effects is subjective as to what works for you. (not trying to take away from John here in the least-I would love to try one of his modded Vox or Dunlaps)

Re: WHO MAKES THE BEST WAH PEDAL
For a stock pedal I would go with the Bad Horsie 2. It has a custom buffer circuit that IMHO is as good as true bypass. I should know. I have done a ton of tue bypass mods.
My second choice would be a stock GCB-95 with the vocal mod, midrange mod, buffer circuit removed and true bypass installed. Killer.

Re: WHO MAKES THE BEST WAH PEDAL
Ive got the original Bad Horsie, I like it alot, but I dont think I would call it the best. The bypass is great, and the switchless feature is killer, the tone is smooth and silky, as is the pedal's feel. The Electro-Optical feature instead of a pot is pretty cool too.
Only problem I have with it, is the treble doesnt really go as high as I would like. Its also kinda noisy, it carries its own "atmosphere" as soon as you step on it.

Re: WHO MAKES THE BEST WAH PEDAL
I pretty much use vintage Vox and Thomas Organ wahs, have a a couple Maestro Boomerangs, Foxx, and Colorsound. The coolest one I have is a UK made pre-Clyde silver Vox wah.
I really like the older Italian Jen Cry Babys. I think I'm going to mod a couple for true bypass.
For new wahs, I like the Teese wahs.

Re: WHO MAKES THE BEST WAH PEDAL
Teese RMC Wizard for high gain wah, RMC-3 if you can afford it for high gain + porno clean wah.
The Bad Horsey always sounds like an ice pick to the ear in the high frequencies to me.
The old crybabys sound pretty good, but I don't care for the new ones. Also, the old ones are hit and miss....that the play is the tragedy, "Man"
