What type of music are you gonna use it for?
Personally, I don't like them. There are actually several Boogie amps I don't like. I am not a fan of the Subway Series and I'm really not to fond of the Nomad Series.

Jg , most of what I play is 80's metal.Some blues and lately,powermetal [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]...I can't get away from it.I can get it for a pretty good deal,but it's hard to beat the Laney..

Not sure that rig will do what ya need it to. More of a mid-gain rig. Might kick with a pedal in front of it...

If you can get a great deal on it, buy it - see if it works for you - and if not, sell it and make a few bucks. I really don't think it's going to do 80s metal worth a damn though without some sort of pedal pushing the front end.

Mostly great for Bluesy and normal Rockish stuff, not a high-gain monster, more smoothy.

Hey guys,just got back from trying out the Blue Angel.I used my LP and my R.Cray Strat.Classic rock and blues is what she is made for.Nice amp,just not my cup of tea.I made the guy an offer,ball is in his court.Appreciate the feedback,you guys were right [img]/images/graemlins/notworthy.gif[/img]...............
