Carvin question ohms and stuff.

I bought the 8 ohms 2x12 for 200 dollars, and I recieved it today.

The speakers themselves say 16 ohms and my Head is 4 ohms or 8 ohms.

I plugged it in and it worked, should I worry?

Overall I'm pretty happy with the sound from them and from my Fender Roc Pro 1000. I will probably hook my Pod 2.0 to it though because I liked the rectified sound on it.

set your amp to 8 ohms and you'll be fine

Yeah, the speakers are wired parallel to halve the impedance. 2 16 ohm speakers = 8 ohms total. If you use the POD it will probably sound best on the clean channel in the loop, or just into the power amp in and bypass the preamp completely.
