Avatar cabinet

I am looking at gettting myself a cabinet. I have a line on an Avatar cabinet. Has anyone here had any experience with them? The reviews at Harmony Central seemed positive. My buddy has offered to let me have it for $150. Is that a good deal? It is loaded with Celestian G12H80s. I'll be using it with my ADA MP-1 into a Gallien-Krueger 250RL.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Four 80 watt celestions are worth 150 bucks, haha...

Some people like them, some don't. I sorta like the 80 watters...

Can't say much about the cabs themselves though, never saw one.

I have an Avatar 2x12 that rocks, no worries. Loaded with one Celestion G12H30 and one Celestion Vintage 30. Nice cabs.

Avatar Speakers are awesome.
Their customer service when ordering a new cab is great. Dave (I think that's his name) really knows his stuff and walks you right through the speaker selection like a champ.

Yeah - Dave is a good guy. Avatar cabs are well-constructed cabs, and while they don't have the "bling" factor that "name brand" cabs do, the quality isn't lacking.
